Bingo starts of with a card with a grid layout which typically displays 15
random numbers. You can improve the chances of winning by purchasing
several cards, but you have to be fast.
Random numbers are generated either by an electronic number generator, some
kind of mechanical device which presents random balls to the caller, or by the
caller picking numbers out of a bag.
The numbers are called out by the Caller and the game begins when the caller
says "Eyes down".
As the random number is generated the caller will announce the number - if the
number appears on any of your cards then you mark it, usually with a 'dabber'
(felt tip pen). If you don't have that number you wait for the next number
to be announced.
